Always handmade, always fresh, always made with care.

Pixie Cakes began the way many great things do in a kitchen, with a mixing bowl, a spark of creativity and a “let’s just see where this goes.”

Back in 2015, Jayde started baking cakes for friends and family, filling weekends with brownie trays, cookie experiments and treat boxes. She didn’t know it yet, but she was building something special. People kept coming back telling friends, telling their friends and soon Pixie Cakes was popping up at local markets, cafés and community events all across Swansea.

During lockdown, baking became more than just a hobby it was a way to stay connected. Treat boxes were delivered to doorsteps, happiness came wrapped in brown paper, and a loyal, cake-loving community began to grow.

Over the years, Jayde’s bakes gained a bit of a reputation. From Brownie Bombs to Cookie Stack celebration cakes, to ridiculous, over-the-top milkshakes loaded with her own bakes everything was playful, nostalgic and just the right amount of extra. The kind of baking that makes you feel like a kid again.

In 2025, Jayde opened the first Pixie Cakes shop in Killay the place she grew up, worked her first jobs, delivered papers, and got to know the community that raised her. So it’s not just a shop it’s a full-circle moment.

Meanwhile, Back in the Bakehouse…

Today, people queue out the door for our bakes, shakes and freshly roasted coffee. But more importantly they come to chat, laugh, sit, stay, and belong. That’s what matters most.

Pixie Cakes isn’t just about cake.

It’s about community, creativity, and feeling welcome always.

So whether you’re here for a latte and a timeout, a celebration cake, a treat to take home, or just because you deserve something sweet today we’re so glad you’re here.

Welcome to the Pixie family.

Meet the Team!

The secret ingredient is… people.
(And butter. And chocolate. And maybe a bit more butter.)
Here are the legends who make Pixie Cakes, Pixie Cakes.

Jayde

Meet Jayde, founder, baker and creative chaos-queen behind Pixie Cakes. She’s the one mixing nostalgia, sweetness and just the right amount of madness into every bake.

Katie

Shop Manager

Meet Katie, thriving in the coffee shop environment, always up for a chat... sometimes a little too much if you ask her co-workers, and with 10 years in the game, she's gathered more stories, friendships, and latte art attempts than she can count.

Rosie

If Rosie isn't busy crafting her gorgeous handmade jewellery, you'll find her behind the counter with a warm smile and a chat ready to go. She loves connecting with customers, especially if she gets the chance to talk about her beautiful baby girl!

Friendly, creative, and always bringing good energy, Rosie makes everyone feel welcome.

Amelie

Meet Amelie - Working in a coffee shop has always been my dream, probably because caffeine runs through my veins at this point. I’m a qualified personal trainer and nutrition student, which sounds impressive until you realize my diet mostly consists of cake and coffee (balance, right?). This job fills my life with laughter, amazing friends, and endless good vibes.

Olivia

Drama queen (in the best way!)

Lover of all things performing arts and full of stage-worthy energy.

Can’t resist a good chat especially when it comes with a slice of cake!

The baby Pixie of the bunch, fuelled by sugar, smiles, and sweet treats galore!

Lauren

Fueled by coffee, good conversation, and the joy of catching up with familiar faces from around Killay. Always thrilled when furry friends stop by, dogs make the best café guests (and give the best cuddles!)
